IIM Calcutta | Ph.D. Programme Overview
Established in 1961 with the motto Jñānam Sarvahitāya Knowledge for the benefit of all, the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C) was established as the first national institute for Post-Graduate studies and Research in Management by the Government of India in collaboration with Alfred P. Sloan School of Management (MIT), the Government of West Bengal, The Ford Foundation and Indian industry.
It’s popularly known as JOKA and it is a dream educational institute in India.
About the Ph.D. Programme
The Doctoral Programme of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta was started in 1971.
It is a full-time programme offered in various specializations in management and related disciplines. The programme seeks exceptionally motivated and committed students who will engage in rigorous interdisciplinary research. The programme is committed to educating scholars who will become leaders in their fields of research. IIMC doctoral programme seeks out individuals who

Step 2: Fill application (application opens for 2-3 months : November- January
